Hi Friends, Today I'd like to talk about the important issue of the past week. You have all undoubtedly been watching the news and the videos surrounding the death of George Floyd. I am sure it has created feelings of extreme upset and outrage in you. You may also feel helpless to do something to take on the enormous problem of systemic racism that has existed for far too long. My own first reaction was to feel both horrified and powerless to tackle such a widespread, critical issue.

Hi Friends,
Does merely reading the title of this newsletter produce anxiety in you? Yeah, I get that. Right now, there is very little that any of us know for sure about how life will unfold in the near and distant future. Yet a sizeable part of what most of us do everyday involves some form of planning ahead. Uncertainty about what's going to happen as we live in a pandemic world creates question after question, which makes planning ahead feel, well, stressful. Would you agree? Happy Mother's Day!! Hi Friends, Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! Most of you know that I am a certified health and life coach. As part of my work, I help busy women (many of them moms and grandmas) dial down feelings of overwhelm and tension that come from giving so much to everything and everybody else. It seems like your to-do list never ends, and many of those tasks revolve around your children and grandchildren. My question you is this: Where are YOU in all this busy-ness? Hi Friends, I hope this email finds you well and dealing brilliantly with our new state of normal. But hey, don't stress at all if you're thinking "Not really." The conditions you are experiencing are so outside of our usual state of existence, that even the most centered, optimistic, and strong-willed among us are being challenged. Fear, uncertainty and isolation are a few of the most difficult emotions to overcome. Living with these emotions for an extended period of time can be trying. Hi Friends, Crazy times, crazy thoughts.. I am popping into your mailbox today to share some ways to keep your sanity while living a home-based life, and for staying centered while living through these uncertain times. With most of us being asked (or in some cases, required) to stay and/or work from home, our routines and the way we operate are drastically disrupted. Worry, upset and feelings of isolation are often the result. Hi Friends, It's been a few weeks since I've popped into your mailbox! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and have been enjoying the holiday season. I am enjoying the pre-holiday energy I've been feeling all around me, as 2019 winds down and we move into a new decade (OMG!). Today I'd like to talk about the many benefits of fully committing to something. And to illustrate my point, I will share a truly eye opening experience I had in November when I joined a 21 day clean eating program lead by a fellow coach. Overall, it was an extremely valuable and enjoyable experience...it helped my digestive system AND my mindset in ways that will carry me through the holiday season and into the new year. And importantly, I saw the big difference between sort of committing and fully committing to a plan (in this case, the clean eating program).
Happy Thanksgiving! Let The Holiday Season Begin... In the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to express my gratitude to you for being part of my wellness community in 2019. Whether you are a current or former client, a workshop participant, or someone who has enjoyed reading my emails, I truly value any level of involvement we have shared. I hope that I have consistantly lived up to your expectations of delivering useful and actionable information, with programs and content that contribute to your growth and development toward becoming the healthiest and happiest version of yourself. I want to help you discover what I know you already have within you ... great inner strength, wisdom, intuition and courage. A whole lot of heart, smarts, humor, and compassion. I am truly delighted to help you find these qualities that you may sometimes doubt you even have, but I never do. You are an awesome human being, one of a kind. If I can contribute in any way to your confidence in that, I feel honored. So now... let's talk about Thanksgiving Day, specifically in relation to all the food and all the people. Here are a few ideas to think about... Hi Friends, Aaahhhh the Fall... It feels great when the weather is cool and crisp. To me, Fall is almost like the new year. Maybe because I am still on a school year calendar in my mind (although my kids are well past their school days). At this time, I often find myself thinking about what lies ahead for me during the year, and how I can create the things I really want for myself as the year progresses. I started thinking about what is working and what isn't in various aspects my own life, and the best way to move toward my goals. To me, life feels like Crazy Town sometimes. Even with grown children who are living on their own, it feels like there's so much to do, and a lot to keep track of. There are personal goals, business goals, family commitments, relationships with friends, significant others, our children, even pets! (Don't laugh. A friend of mine was upset recently because she wasn't spending enough quality time with her dog.) And all of it seems very important, which can make things feel overwhelming. I asked myself, what is the best way to move ahead with consistency, without continually feeling panic that I am doing too little, putting too much energy toward the wrong things, or simply am not sticking to my goals? How can I move ahead with the things that are important to me and are sometimes quite challenging, and stay out of a constant state of overwhelm?
